Swanbridge Veterinary Hospital has a fully equipped small animal hydrotherapy suite which houses a heated, purpose built pool and an underwater treadmill. Hydrotherapy is a low impact exercise that improves muscle activity but does not place any strain on the joints and can be used for a range of musculo-skeletal conditions including: arthritis, for rehabilitation following orthopaedic surgery or for controlling weight.
The unit is overseen by our hydrotherapy nurses Caroline Killingsworth and Sophie Render. For more details speak to your veterinary surgeon or ask to speak to one of our hydrotherapy nurses.
